Family Formation Study
We're collaborating with our colleagues in the UW School of Nursing (experts in supporting healthy attachments) on a pilot study looking at how attachments form in international adoption. If you're a pre-adoptive 1st-time parent planning to adopt an infant or toddler from Taiwan, please see this flyer.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Center > Post-Placement > Can you see our child in clinic?

If you live anywhere near Seattle, or are willing to travel, we'd love to. Drs. Bledsoe and Davies currently have very full practices, but can accept new adoptees, siblings of existing patients, and new families with at least one adopted child. The wait for families that aren't established patients with them will be pretty long, unfortunately, as they have limited new patient slots.

Dr. Kertesz has years of experience caring for adopted children in Tacoma, but since she is newer in our clinic, she does have more new patient slots available (for a limited time, I'm sure). She is also accepting new non-adopted patients.

To schedule an appointment at the clinic for your child, call our clinic schedulers at 206-598-3000. They're the quickest draw in the West - we reportedly have the fastest call pickup time at the UW, so you may not get to hear as much soothing Muzak as you're used to.
